Adorers Of The Blood Of Christ United States Region
Communications Associate The Adorers of the Blood of Christ, an international order of religious women, are seeking a full-time Communications Associate for their U.S. Regional office in St. Louis.
The candidate should be proficient in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite and Mailchimp; be social media savvy and able to engage social media and email audiences; and be able to design ads and other digital and print materials, including e-newsletters, with flair. Podcasting and video skills are a plus, as is familiarity with the Catholic Church, Catholic Sisters, vocations and social justice issues. This non-exempt position is 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional additional days/hours outside of the usual schedule, as needed, and reports to the director of communications. The ideal candidate is able to embody and communicate the charism/essence of the Adorers via various print and digital channels. The communications associate is responsible for the design, storytelling, and online presence of the Adorers' brand, as well as general communications tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in digital media, communications, or related field required “1-2 years demonstrated experience.
- Exceptional skills in communication (verbal, written, interpersonal), organization, creativity, time and project-management.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and MailChimp.
- Demonstrated ability to grow and consistently engage social media and email audiences.
- Skills in podcasting and/or video creation preferred.
- Understanding of Catholicism and vowed religious life.
- Attentive to details.
- Current valid state driver's license, with safe driving record.
- Ability to work and interact effectively with various coworkers and sisters around the world.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality of all information.
- Willingness to adhere to and implement all policies and procedures.
- Willingness to perform all duties and behave in a manner consistent with the expectations of the supervisor.
- Willingness to support the vision and values of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
45% Designs, provides some copy, and coordinates printing of assorted communications materials (invitations, booklets, brochures, advertisements, web graphics, flyers, posters, award certificates, etc.)
35% Serves as webmaster for the U.S. Region's website, as well as maintaining all social media accounts and email lists.
10% Researches/writes/distributes content for blogs and newsletters, including media news releases on routine topics (obituaries, Sisters' anniversaries and jubilees).
10% Provides support for Vocations and Justice Departments.
Other: Attends and participates in meetings and training, as required. Performs other duties and projects, as assigned.
