Under direction of the Chief Executive Officer at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital, Division of Behavioral Health Services, Department of Health the Chief Nursing Officer will provide leadership, develop and maintain an ongoing system of clinical supervision, setting goals, establishing policy, implementing professional staff growth & development programs, maintain a high level of professional & performance standards, provides quality care while ensuring compliance with Joint Commission (JC) standards. These services are relevant to providing excellent care to support each person's journey toward wellness and recovery within a culture of safety. Ancora Psychiatric Hospital provides care within a multi disciplinary mental health setting serving a diverse adult population with severe and persistent mental illness. Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, supplemented by a Master's degree in Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing is required. Two (2) years of psychiatric/mental health nursing, one (1) year of which shall have been as an advanced practice nurse AND four (4) years of management/supervisory experience in the clinical delivery of psychiatric/mental health nursing.
- Applicant must possess a current professional license as a Registered Nurse valid in the State of New Jersey
- Applicant must possess a New Jersey Board of Nursing certification as an advanced practice nurse with a psychiatric/ mental health specialization
- Applicant must be board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
