Landscape and maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks mowing grass, weed trimming, trim/cut brush, trim hedges, Planting plants, Irrigation, Landscaping and landscape maintenance
No education or prior work experience is required. Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50lbs. Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week, Monday- Friday 6:00am until 3:00PM, depending on weather conditions. Work on Saturdays may be required. Workers are needed to begin work on 03/01/2018 through 12/15/2018
Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout the Gulf Coast Area including the counties of Jackson, Harrison, Hancock.
Workers will be paid no less than $12.45 per hour, Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions, and will be paid at $18.68 per hour.
The employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use and maintenance of landscaping power tools and equipment.
The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
Workers will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by check.
The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.
Workers can locate and secure their own lodging or apply at a local apartment complex located several blocks from the place of business. The employer will help secure the lodging at no extra cost to the employee, the employee will be responsible for all living cost involved with the lodging only 2 workers per room will be allowed in the apartments and all costs will be divided by the number of rooms and workers per apartment.
If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.07 p/day during travel to a maximum of $51.00 p/day with receipts
Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location at the Gautier office. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations in Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock counties.
Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
