Worker Needed
Is seeking 60 temporary Citrus Production Workers for the production and growing of citrus trees during the growing season. Job include: mowing grass between planted rows of citrus, distributing fertilizer to the trees, spraying nutrients on the foliage of the trees, spraying nutrients to the ground beneath the trees, repairing irrigation systems, planting new citrus trees, removal of old or dead citrus trees, pruning all citrus trees, handwork associated with the production of citrus, repairing farm buildings, repairing broken equipment, removal of weeds and vines from citrus trees, land preparation for new citrus trees from June 15, 2019 through December 15, 2019. During the time of work, workers will be paid a rate of $11.24 per hour. There is a guarantee of the adverse effect wage rate, which at the present date is $11.24. Job location is in Central and South Florida area. Employer will offer a 3/4 guarantee for the work period for each employee. Employer will provide all tools, supplies and equipment necessary to complete the job. Housing will be provided for Individual workers outside normal commuting distance. Qualified workers will be provided transportation and subsistence expenses to the workplace, upon completion of 50% of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate.
