Job Summary:
The Director of Marketing will lead The Gazette’s marketing strategy to drive The Gazette’s visibility, engagement, reader loyalty through new product development. This role will serve as the marketing lead, working to ensure program and product creation aligns with overall business and marketing goals.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee the direction, development and execution of new audiences and products.
· Conduct research on viability of new products or new markets for current products.
· Manage the implementation of new products/programs and product changes as well as the consolidation of existing products in support of business goals.
· Oversee marketing data development and analysis to identify segments and audience behaviors that provide targeted prospects to our partners for advertising purposes or for our own marketing purposes
· Help create and support online content membership and subscription marketing development, develop audience funnel and create opportunities to move audience down the path to purchase
· Deliver the thought leadership required to build a robust foundation of marketing analytical tools for analyzing and interpreting data to make strong data-driven marketing decisions
· Proactively bring innovative new ideas and explore growth opportunities
· Develop and understand key audiences and their engagement patterns to identify opportunities
· Oversee and track KPIs for all marketing investments

Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field required.
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a purchased consumer product business, with 5 years of that comprised of product development specialization.
· Experience with marketing metrics: conversion rate, click-through rate, internal and external benchmarking, ROI analysis and other key performance indicators.
