The Kittery School District is currently seeking a School Psychologist/Psychological Examiner.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of a Master’s degree and at least two years of experience working in the field of psychology. Experience and expertise in administering and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments for school-aged students required. Professional judgment and clear, effective written and oral communication skills are needed for reporting to parents and teams of school-based and interdisciplinary professionals. Responsibilities include facilitating data-driven meetings in order to determine student eligibility for special education and related services under the Maine Unified Special Education Regulations. The ability to create and facilitate therapeutic groups for students in grades 6-12 is a plus.
You must be able to pass a background test through the State of Maine Education Department.
