Registered Nurse in a skilled nursing facility setting. Full-time, Part-time, and PRN available. 8 hour and 12 hour shifts available. Responsible for providing medical care to our residents such as providing prescribed medications, treatments, acquiring vital signs, assisting the LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants with ADLs, assessing the resident and documenting in their medical record, notifying and communicating with the physicians and nurse practitioners medical conditions and acuity, supervising the staff directly responsible for providing hands on care to the resident, and promoting their safety and comfort. Reports to the Registered Nurse Supervisor and the Director of Nurses. Work closely with all departments as a team to ensure optimal care is provided. Be an advocate for the residents in their home setting to ensure their needs are met according to the MSDH standards and regulations.
