Structural Engineer II
Structural Engineer II for Modjeski and Masters, Inc. to work at our Littleton, CO loc. Engineering for projects (under general supervision): Structural analysis & design of bridge components using rel software, w/ ltd help of PMs & Sr Engineers; Dev prelim details w/ CAD software; Rev & check structural design calcs & shop drawings; Prep project docs & internal corresp; Do & check quantity take-offs from contract plans; Rev construction specs & special provisions; Assist in prep construction cost estimates and in dvlpmnt & prep of design reports; and rel duties as assigned (incl field & construction services). Little domestic travel may be involved. Requires communication skills. Must have Masters in Civil or Structural Engr, and 1 yr relev structural engr design exp. Also requires skills (1 yr exp) in: engineering analysis software; CAD and design software; and structural engineering terminology, design techniques, tools and principles.
