Customer Service Representative
Essential Duties:
Providing excellent customer service to our NorCal Subscribers
1. Answering calls regarding delivery and billing inquiries from subscribers and circulation field personnel on a multi-line phone system.
2. Accessing and entering subscriber information into an electronic subscriber database.
3. Cash Handling - taking payments in person through the cash register, and over the phone via credit or debit card.
4. Writing payment receipts.
5. Makes outbound sales and retention calls.
6. Assists Customers with obituary postings.
7. Assists Circulation Director with other assigned related tasks as needed.
8. Advertising data entry and order processing.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
2. Word processing and computer skills required.
3. Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
4. Must have a pleasant telephone manner.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
