Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Coordinator in the Business Economic and Community Outreach Network (BEACON).
Primary Job Duties: This position supports the research and data analysis in a large number of BEACON projects. The Project Coordinator will conduct research, complete analysis, and develop reports for a variety of projects. The incumbent will have direct responsibility for individual project acquisition, management, and delivery to clients. The Project Coordinator will work with student workers and senior staff to ensure that a wide range of projects are completed professionally and within the project budget and timeline.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications or a related field. 3-5 years of work experience. Project management work, public relations work, or sales experience
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral & written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
This is a full-time, exempt, Contingent II (long-term contractual), position with a limited benefits package including medical, prescription, dental, paid leave, tuition remission and more. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
