OUR MISSION - DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
On March 9, 2020, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) recommended extra precautions to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to older members of our community and those with chronic medical conditions who are at high risk of hospitalization and death from infection due to COVID-19 activity within the state/region.
At this time, South Mississippi Regional center has temporarily suspended all off campus visitors as a precautionary measure. SMRC’s concern is to keep the individuals we serve and the employees who deliver their care safe and healthy. We will continue to actively monitor the situation and will continue to coordinate with local and state agencies.
