Speech Pathologist 

SUNY Upstate Medical University is currently accepting applications for Speech Language Pathologist opportunities in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation - Rehab Therapies. Openings available to provide outpatient services for both pediatrics and adults, acute care and inpatient rehab.

The primary duties of the Speech Pathologist include direct patient contact for assessment of swallowing, feeding, speech, and language disorders covering the spectrum of inpatient diagnoses including stroke, head trauma, head and neck cancer, chronic airway disorder and related disorders covering the spectrum from pediatrics to geriatrics. Will provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language and swallowing in a medically-based practice.

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent) and completion of one year of clinical fellowship required. CPR/BLS certification required at time of appointment.
