Department: Plumbing Shop
Reports to: Plumbing shop supervisor
Shift: Sunday to Thursday / 3:30 - midnight
Responds to calls on campus relating to mechanical issues that are normally directed to Plumbers, HVAC Technicians and Electricians. Performs maintenance and repair including Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems, as well as other miscellaneous systems on campus including fire alarms, elevators, and locks, in various buildings, building facilities and/or building utilities, and other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of experience in the maintenance and repair of non-automotive equipment which includes the repair and maintenance of electrical motors and motorized machines and equipment. LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.
