USA Health currently has vacancies for the following clinical areas.
Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology, Mitchell Cancer Institute Oncology and Clinical Trials, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics and Surgery.

Responsible for providing nursing care to outpatients to include: conducting patient assessments, assisting physicians with examinations and preparing rooms and equipment for patient use; conducts preliminary assessment of patients and reports findings to physician; assists with patient examinations; takes and records vital signs; prepares or supervises preparation of clinic rooms and equipment for use; dispenses medications according to orders and administers injections; calls prescriptions and refills to pharmacies; performs various routine tests; maintains patient records; works and complies with the IRB to process all studies; conducts in collaboration with the budgets, cost analysis and monetary disbursements for subjects; trains and conducts safe and efficient care for patient enrolled in studies; implements protocols; prepares procedures such as consenting patients, interviewing subjects and performing study requirements per protocol; processes specimens; maintains legal records for the study and the USA EMR; works with the PI seeing patients and monitors and/or audits protocols; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.

The minimum requirements for the Clinical Nurse positions vary based on the level as follows.
Clinical Nurse I- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the state of Alabama and current licensure with the state of Alabama as a registered nurse.
Clinical Nurse II- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the state of Alabama, one year of professional nursing experience, licensure with the state of Alabama as a registered nurse.
Clinical Nurse III-Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standards set by the state of Alabama, three years of professional nursing experience, and current licensure with the state of Alabama as a registered nurse.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
