Accountant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze company financial information, including income, expenses, and other financial information.
Utilize accepted accounting and finance principals to prepare professional accounting reports and ledgers and balance the company financial accounts.
Prepare and maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liability.
Prepare reports to summarize current and projected future company financial performance.
Review financial reports and financial information with company management.
Monitor bank and financial accounts, bank/financial statements, and credit balances, including lines of credit.
Liaise with bank officials to request variations in lines of credit and/or overdraft facilities and prepare cash flow analyses to support company requests for variations in lines of credit and/or bank overdraft facilities.
Develop and prepare financial models and business plans for existing and future business operations, including eCommerce, and locations.
Design financial models based upon past operations to facilitate management decisions on expansion/restructuring of business to new locations and/or into new product lines or company departments.
Prepare current and projected monthly and annual financial reports; generate monthly and annual budgeting, payroll and benefits reports, monthly employment tax reports and compensation reports per requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or foreign equivalent. Employer will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas, or professional work experience which are determined to be the equivalent of U.S. Bachelor's degree by a qualified evaluation service.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
